The Opportunity As the lead ESH specialist for Aumovio's new manufacturing plant, you'll serve as a strategic partner responsible for environmental health and safety oversight across all plant operations. This greenfield facility represents a chance to establish comprehensive environmental, health, safety, and security programs from inception, ensuring seamless compliance and operational excellence. You'll collaborate with corporate and regional leadership to drive continuous improvement initiatives, building a foundation of safety and compliance that becomes the plant's hallmark. Day-to-Day Responsibilities Lead the development and implementation of environmental, health, safety, and security programs for the new manufacturing plant Ensure all ESH policies, procedures, and protocols align with federal, state, and local regulations Conduct safety audits, inspections, and risk assessments across plant operations Train and educate plant staff on environmental health and safety best practices Manage incident reporting, investigation, and corrective action processes Collaborate with corporate and regional partners on regulatory compliance and continuous improvement Oversee security-related initiatives and integrate them with overall ESH strategy Monitor and maintain safety performance metrics and documentation Qualifications Proven experience as an Environmental Health and Safety specialist, ESH manager, or similar leadership role in manufacturing Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations, EPA standards, and state and local environmental requirements Experience developing and implementing ESH programs in industrial settings Demonstrated ability to lead, communicate with, and train diverse teams Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills Professional certifications such as CSP, CIH, or GSMS are a plus Ability to work on-site at Aumovio's Corpus Christi facility About the Company Aumovio is building a new manufacturing operation in Corpus Christi, Nueces County, committed to operational excellence and a strong safety culture.
