Oscar Medical Group is seeking a Bilingual (Spanish) Physician for our Virtual Health Assessment team — a full-time, remote position for a board-certified doctor who wants to reshape how care is delivered. You'll provide care to patients across Oscar's platforms by phone and video, while also acting as a supervising physician for Advanced Practice Providers. The position reports to the Director of Virtual Health Assessment. Standard hours run Monday through Thursday, 8am–8pm EST, and Friday and Saturday, 8am–6pm EST, with 8- or 10-hour shifts. Expect one late shift (ending 8pm EST) each week and one Saturday shift per quarter. Eligible residents must live in one of these states: Arizona, Arkansas, California, Colorado, District of Columbia, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Massachusetts, Michigan, Nevada, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Texas, or Virginia. Occasional travel for team gatherings and company events may come up. Key Responsibilities Supervise and oversee nurse practitioners and physician assistants in line with state-specific regulations. Deliver virtual medical care via phone, video, and messaging, following Oscar Medical Group's guidelines and policies. Partner with medical assistants, registered nurses, and fellow providers across service lines. Maintain compliance with all relevant laws and regulations, plus other duties as assigned. Qualifications Board certification in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine. MD or DO from an accredited medical school. Fluency in Spanish. Full (non-telehealth) licensure in Tennessee and Florida. Active IMLCC, or eligibility to apply, plus willingness to license in additional states with our support and licensing vendor. Three or more years in an outpatient family or internal medicine setting, with familiarity in value-based care documentation. Preferred: two-plus years of telemedicine work, licenses in MO, AL, or MS, and regulatory supervision experience of NPs and PAs.
