This full-time role offers two schedule options: Wednesday–Saturday, 9:30 a.m.–8:00 p.m., or Sunday–Wednesday, 6:30 a.m.–5:00 p.m. Day-to-Day Responsibilities Answer incoming calls and establish collaborative relationships grounded in respect and acceptance Listen actively to callers' concerns and help them articulate and validate their feelings Guide callers toward practical coping strategies based on recovery principles Share your personal recovery experience authentically to model hope and resilience Identify crisis situations and follow established protocols to connect callers with crisis resources Document call details and significant interactions in our electronic health record system Maintain confidentiality in full compliance with HIPAA regulations Refer callers to community resources and support services as appropriate Champion a recovery-focused approach emphasizing choice, dignity, and self-determination Qualifications Lived personal experience with recovery Previous experience working or volunteering in a peer support or recovery support role One or more years of volunteer or paid office-based work experience High School Diploma or GED Peer Support Specialist or Recovery Support Specialist certification (preferred but not required) Excellent listening and verbal communication skills Ability to work independently, remain accountable, and adapt to changing situations Reliable home internet connection (minimum 50 Mbps download, 5 Mbps upload, stable Ethernet required—Wi-Fi not permitted) Working at Solari Solari operates a statewide 24/7 crisis line serving individuals across Colorado.
