Role Overview In this Payroll & Billing Specialist position with Globalization Partners in Mexico, you will oversee essential invoice processing, expense validation, and customer billing functions. You will ensure financial accuracy and regulatory compliance across LATAM operations while supporting our platform's mission to simplify international hiring for organizations worldwide. Your work directly influences how smoothly companies can expand and manage their global workforce. Key Responsibilities Manage complete international expense workflows for the LATAM region, guiding submissions through to final reimbursement Examine LATAM country expenses for alignment with local tax law requirements and regulations, addressing discrepancies and employee concerns Act as the primary point of contact for all expense and billing questions, communicating directly with clients, employees, and local service providers Process and issue accurate invoices to customers for services including Employer of Record (EOR), advisory services, and related offerings Evaluate all expenses from a compliance perspective and generate timely invoices according to established policy and billing schedules Support additional duties as required to advance team objectives Skills & Qualifications Minimum four years of professional experience in expense review, invoice processing, and billing operations Proven ability to manage complete expense reimbursement workflows across LATAM markets Direct experience with accounts payable operations and invoice management specific to Mexico Fluency in both English and Spanish, with strong written and verbal communication skills Working knowledge of fundamental accounting principles and payroll practices Experience with payroll and accounting software systems Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Microsoft Excel Capability to thrive in high-volume, deadline-driven environments Exceptional accuracy and analytical abilities, combined with strong problem-solving skills Excellent interpersonal and organizational capabilities Proactive approach and willingness to do whatever is necessary to complete the work Preferred: Experience managing LATAM payroll and expenses in Mexico, Colombia, Brazil, or Chile; working knowledge of Zoho applications; background resolving customer billing matters through ticketing systems like Zendesk or ServiceNow.
