About the Role

This Patient Access Sr Associate position with Nebraska Medicine in Omaha is a part-time, second-shift opportunity supporting patients and their families at the very start of their care experience. You will work approximately 20 hours per week, Wednesday through Sunday from 4:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. New team members complete a four-week training program scheduled during full-time daytime hours before transitioning to the regular evening shift.

Key Responsibilities

• Welcome patients and families and guide them through the registration and intake process with warmth and professionalism.
• Gather, verify, and accurately enter patient demographic and insurance information.
• Support scheduling, check-in, and account-related tasks to keep patient access running smoothly during evening hours.
• Serve as a reliable point of contact, answering questions and helping resolve concerns to ensure a positive first impression.
• Collaborate with clinical and administrative colleagues to uphold Nebraska Medicine's standard of extraordinary care.

Qualifications

• Availability to work the part-time second-shift schedule of 20 hours per week, Wednesday through Sunday, 4:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
• Willingness to attend a four-week, full-time daytime training period.
• Strong interpersonal and customer-service skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Comfort working with computer systems to record and confirm patient information.
