About the Role As a Partner Solutions Engineer at BeyondTrust, you will be central to expanding the technical depth of our partner ecosystem across Australia. Working as a trusted advisor and technical coach, you will empower partners to lead their own pre-sales motions — from discovery conversations and product demos to proof-of-concept (POC) engagements — while aligning with our Go-To-Market plans to grow pipeline and revenue. The position calls for deep technical knowledge, polished communication, and a self-starting mindset for nurturing strong partnerships. Key Responsibilities Coach partners to confidently communicate the BeyondTrust technical value story and run their own discovery calls, demonstrations, and POCs. Deliver foundational technical training — onsite or virtual — shaped around each partner's needs. Maintain partner lab environments so they stay current with the latest product releases and use cases. Support partners through deal registration opportunities across discovery, demo, and POC phases. Run technical readiness assessments such as BCSE and oversee NFR (Not for Resale) requests. Partner with in-region focus partners and VADs to drive scalable growth, and build new technical relationships across the network. Represent BeyondTrust at partner events, trade shows, and seminars. Qualifications 3+ years as a pre-sales or support engineer, plus 5+ years with a global software vendor. A track record of differentiating solutions within the Privileged Access Management (PAM) space. Skill in delivering POCs across Windows and Unix environments. Hands-on Microsoft experience, including Active Directory, DNS, and enterprise systems. Solid Unix/Linux knowledge spanning installation, troubleshooting, and privilege management. Familiarity with virtualization platforms like VMware and Hyper-V. Outstanding presentation, communication, and problem-solving skills, with willingness to travel up to 50%.
