About the Role
As a Part Time Instructor of Automotive Tech at Cape Fear Community College, you will lead classroom instruction for students seeking to build and sharpen their skills in Automotive Technology. This Wilmington-based teaching position falls within the Workforce Development and Continuing Education division, where you will help motivated individuals advance their careers in the automotive trade. You will work under the general direction of the Senior Director of Workforce Development of Continuing Education and/or the Workforce Training Coordinator, and the position carries no supervisory responsibility over other staff.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging, in-class instruction to students pursuing professional development in Automotive Technology.
- Support adult learners as they develop practical, career-ready automotive skills.
- Carry out the essential teaching duties of the role under the general guidance of program leadership.
- Maintain a productive and professional learning environment in the classroom.

- Demonstrated expertise and practical experience in Automotive Technology.
- Ability to clearly explain technical concepts and guide students of varying experience levels.
