About the Role

As Part-Time Faculty in Managerial Communication at Eastern Kentucky University, you will deliver engaging instruction within the College of Business, part of the Division of Academic Affairs. This is a part-time, non-exempt teaching appointment based on the Richmond Campus, scheduled for fewer than 20 hours per week without benefits or retirement contributions. The position is filled through an external search and is classified as a non-driver role.

Key Responsibilities

• Teach Managerial Communication coursework within the College of Business curriculum.
• Prepare lessons, deliver instruction, and facilitate meaningful classroom discussion on campus in Richmond.
• Evaluate student performance and provide constructive, timely feedback.
• Support student learning objectives in alignment with the standards of Academic Affairs.
• Maintain accurate records and fulfill departmental teaching expectations.

Qualifications

• Academic and professional background suited to teaching Managerial Communication at the university level.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills appropriate for a business education setting.
• Commitment to effective instruction and student success within the College of Business.
