Antech Diagnostics is hiring a full-time Parasitology Lab Aide for the overnight shift at our Oak Brook Mall location in DuPage County, supporting the laboratory teams that keep veterinary diagnostics moving around the clock.
About the Role
As a Parasitology Lab Aide working overnights, you will help our DuPage County laboratory deliver accurate, timely results that veterinarians and pet owners depend on. This hands-on support position is ideal for someone who thrives in a focused, after-hours environment and wants to contribute to meaningful work in animal health.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist parasitology technicians and laboratory staff with sample preparation and processing during the overnight shift
- Receive, label, sort, and organize incoming specimens to keep workflows on schedule
- Maintain clean, well-stocked, and orderly work areas in line with laboratory standards
- Follow established safety, handling, and quality protocols for biological samples
- Support accurate record-keeping and the smooth handoff of results between shifts
Qualifications
- Availability to work a full-time overnight schedule at the Oak Brook Mall site in DuPage County (on-site; this is not a remote role)
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow detailed procedures consistently
- Comfort working with biological or laboratory specimens in a clinical setting
- Dependability, good organization, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- A genuine interest in veterinary science, diagnostics, or animal health is a plus
