Paid Media Specialist
Helium SEO is hiring a 1099 Paid Media Specialist that will be responsible for the strategy, implementation, optimization, and reporting of paid advertising campaigns across Google Ads, Microsoft Ads, Meta Ads and LinkedIn.
Helium SEO is located in Cincinnati, OH. We are open to hiring a contractor to work remotely from Argentina.
Role expectations include:
- Build and manage paid advertising campaigns for multiple clients ranging from $5k-$100k+/mo in ad spend across various industries.
- Develop growth strategies for clients and execute around measurable KPIs.
- Monitor and analyze performance data and report results effectively to the team.
- Create client-facing presentations, as needed, to report on strategy, testing, performance, and insights.
- Proactively perform keyword research, A/B ad copy testing, competitor analysis, test target audiences and bid strategies.
- Participate in creative discussions around strategies and tactics that drive results with a team of Ad Specialists.
Required Experience
- 2+ years of experience building and managing PPC campaigns for multiple client accounts.
- Previous experience working in marketing or advertising agencies.
- Strong understanding of the Google Ads, Microsoft Ads, and Meta Ads platforms.
- Proficient in Google Suite; such as Google Slides, Docs, and Sheets.
- Comfortable being on client calls and Zoom.
Preferred Background
- Experience with Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics
- Experience in conversion tracking and implementation with platforms such as HubSpot.
- Displays critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Ability to seek answers and solutions with autonomy
- Deliver high-quality work with attention to detail
Required Skills
- Ability to work autonomously, with the support of your team, to manage the entire paid ads account from strategy, build-out, testing, and reporting.
- Ability to analyze in-platform data, as well as third-party support tools, to provide actionable insights and recommendations.
- Ability to think through complex problems, develop hypotheses, execute testing, and understand when enough data has been collected to decide.
- Ability to multitask, highly organized, and able to prioritize projects effectively.
- Ability to adapt to different client goals, team dynamics, and new processes.
- Proficient in English; reading, speaking, and writing

- This 1099 position will start at about 20 hours per week
- Work remotely from home
- This position is a contract, and you will be responsible for setting your own schedule and invoicing us for the hours worked. This position is not eligible for benefits.
