NewVista Behavioral Health is seeking a dependable Outpatient Driver to join our Columbus, Ohio team on a part-time, weekend basis, helping connect patients to the care they need.
About the Role
As a part-time, weekend Outpatient Driver with NewVista Behavioral Health in Columbus, OH, you will play a vital part in supporting patient care at River Vista. Reporting to the Director of Clinical Services and/or the Outpatient Director, you will work side by side with patients and the broader treatment team to ensure individuals reach their appointments and program activities safely and on time. This position is ideal for someone who values community impact and thrives in a behavioral health setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Transport patients safely and courteously to and from outpatient services during scheduled weekend shifts.
- Collaborate closely with patients and the clinical treatment team to support each individual's care plan.
- Operate under the guidance of the Director of Clinical Services and/or Outpatient Director.
- Help maintain a respectful, supportive, and welcoming environment for every patient.
- Follow all transportation, safety, and confidentiality protocols.
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license with a clean and safe driving record.
- Availability to work a weekend shift on a part-time schedule.
- A patient-centered, compassionate approach when working with individuals in behavioral health treatment.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to coordinate with a multidisciplinary care team.
- Reliability, punctuality, and a commitment to patient safety.
