OTR Class A Team (W2)

About the Role

This is a full-time, W2 over-the-road team position with D R S TRANSPORT INC in Bend, Deschutes County. As an OTR Class A Team driver, you and your driving partner will keep refrigerated and step deck loads moving across long-haul lanes, covering an average of 6,000 to 7,000 miles per week together. Combined team pay averages roughly $3,000 to $4,000 per week. Expected time on the road runs between 5 and 14 days, with the flexibility to stay out longer if that suits you.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate as a Class A team hauling refrigerated and step deck freight on OTR routes.
• Share driving duties with your partner to maintain steady weekly mileage.
• Handle tarping on approximately 25% of loads.
• Manage trip planning and time on the road across multi-day runs.
• Maintain safe, compliant, on-time delivery of every load.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A commercial driver's license (CDL).
• Willingness to drive as part of a two-person OTR team.
• Comfort running refrigerated and step deck equipment.
• Able to perform tarping when loads require it.
• Open to extended time out, with home time typically falling within a 5 to 14 day cycle.

This role involves no driver load or unload responsibilities.
