Position Summary This NOC Analyst - Cloud Operations - (24/7 Environment) post places you as the front-line operational safeguard for enterprise infrastructure, cloud platforms and applications. The work demands precise real-time observation, swift incident response and troubleshooting, plus a constant drive to refine processes and trim excess alerts. Day-to-Day Responsibilities Continuously observe infrastructure, applications and cloud platforms via New Relic, Datadog, Prometheus/Grafana, AWS CloudWatch or GCP Monitoring Triage alerts in real time, validate problems and troubleshoot to restore services rapidly Serve as first responder on incidents in order to minimise downtime and wider impact Detect false positives and tune thresholds to lower alert noise Ownership of high-priority P1/P2 incidents includes running bridges, aligning with SRE, CloudOps, Network and Security teams, and tracking until closed Escalate intricate matters with clear documentation and impact analysis Follow runbooks and SOPs for ordinary incidents and tasks while helping craft improved versions from recurring patterns Conduct regular health checks on servers, networks and failover systems Watch systems during maintenance windows and confirm post-change stability Verify redundancy features such as failovers and load balancers remain operational Monitor backups, batch jobs and scheduled processes and resolve failures promptly Maintain precise incident records in ticketing systems such as Jira or ServiceNow Support production of daily or weekly operational health and performance reports Contribute to root-cause analysis documentation and post-incident reviews Flag possible security anomalies and escalate them to SOC or security colleagues Requirements Practical experience with monitoring and alerting tools including New Relic, Datadog, Prometheus, Grafana, cloud monitoring on AWS or GCP, and PagerDuty or comparable systems Basic knowledge of cloud environments plus application availability and performance Familiarity with firewalls and security principles Solid understanding of on-premises and cloud infrastructure, virtual machines, EC2 instances and EKS clusters Fundamental grasp of networking concepts and protocols Strong troubleshooting and analytical capabilities Proven experience with incident management and escalation workflows Ability to perform effectively under pressure in a continuous 24/7 operations…
