About the Role
As a Night Custodian with Adams 12 Five Star Schools, you will be a key part of the building's evening operations in Thornton, CO. This is a regular, 12-month position (Job Code 1105) at a 1.0 FTE, working 40 standard hours per week. During the school year, hours run from 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM, with summer and break schedules that vary. The position is classified at Grade G3, with an hourly range from $18.69 (Step 1) to $23.04 (Step 8) and a minimum hourly rate of $18.69.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out evening cleaning and upkeep throughout Shadow Ridge Middle School to ensure a tidy, sanitary environment.
- Maintain classrooms, hallways, restrooms, and common areas to district standards.
- Support the safe and secure condition of the facility during night shifts.
- Adjust duties as needed to cover summer and break schedules.
Qualifications
- Willingness to work the scheduled evening shift (3:00 PM–11:30 PM during the school year) and flexible summer/break hours.
- Ability to perform the physical tasks associated with custodial work.
- Reliability, attention to detail, and a commitment to clean, well-maintained school facilities.
