About the Role

As a Neuropsychologist with the Veterans Health Administration, you will provide comprehensive assessment and treatment services to Veterans facing cognitive, neurological, and behavioral health challenges. Based in Enterprise, Clark County, this full-time position places you within an interdisciplinary care team dedicated to improving Veteran outcomes through evidence-based practice.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough neuropsychological evaluations to assess cognitive function, memory, and behavioral health.
  • Interpret assessment findings and develop individualized care and treatment recommendations.
  • Collaborate with physicians, psychologists, and allied health professionals to coordinate patient care.
  • Document clinical findings and contribute to treatment planning in accordance with VHA standards.
  • Support Veterans and their families through education on diagnoses and care options.

Qualifications

  • Doctoral degree in clinical or counseling psychology with specialized training in neuropsychology.
  • Appropriate professional licensure to practice consistent with VHA requirements.
  • Clinical experience administering and interpreting neuropsychological assessments.
  • Strong collaborative, communication, and documentation skills suited to a team-based environment.
  • Commitment to serving the Veteran population on-site in Enterprise, Clark County.

Education Debt Reduction Program

This position is eligible for the Education Debt Reduction Program (EDRP), a student loan reimbursement benefit. Candidates must satisfy the specific eligibility criteria defined by VHA policy and submit an EDRP application within four months of appointment. Program approval, the eligibility period of one to five years, and the award amount of up to $200,000 are determined by the VA in accordance with program guidelines.
