Candidates will apply their expertise daily to keep spatial data current and reliable for the entire technical and production workforce at this Mount Isa site. Responsibilities Perform accurate underground surveys that directly enable production sequences and development advances at George Fisher Mine Generate spatial measurements and datasets that feed into short-term and long-term mine planning processes Establish, maintain and expand survey control networks throughout the underground workings Produce clear survey plans, volume calculations and compliance documentation for Technical Services stakeholders Coordinate closely with mining crews and technical specialists so that survey information is integrated into daily operations near Mount Isa, Mt Isa Skills & Qualifications Recognised qualification in mine surveying, geospatial science or a closely related discipline Solid practical experience performing survey duties in underground mining environments Competence with contemporary total stations, laser systems, software and data-processing tools used in mine survey work Working knowledge of underground mining methods together with applicable safety and regulatory standards Strong attention to detail combined with clear written and verbal communication skills suited to a technical services team About Stellar Recruitment Stellar Recruitment is hiring for this role and offers a supportive team environment.
