About the Role
As a Millwright at Weyerhaeuser in Lebanon, OR, you'll play a critical hands-on part in maintaining the machinery that powers our state-of-the-art sawmill. This full-time, on-site position is ideal for a mechanically minded professional who takes pride in precision, safety, and keeping high-volume operations moving without interruption.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, inspect, troubleshoot, and repair industrial sawmill equipment and machinery.
- Perform scheduled preventive maintenance to minimize downtime and extend equipment life.
- Diagnose mechanical issues and complete timely, lasting repairs.
- Align, level, and calibrate machinery to manufacturer specifications.
- Work collaboratively with production and maintenance teams to support smooth, continuous operations.
- Follow all safety protocols and contribute to a clean, hazard-free work environment.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Millwright or in a comparable industrial maintenance trade.
- Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
- Skilled in welding, rigging, alignment, and the use of precision measuring tools.
- Commitment to workplace safety and dependable attendance.
- Ability to work on-site in Lebanon, Linn County, Oregon.
