Day-to-Day Responsibilities Assess each student's current achievement level in science and track individual progress throughout the year Develop detailed lesson plans and prescriptive learning activities tailored to student needs and district standards Deliver engaging science instruction across core content areas at the middle school level Manage classroom behavior and create an inclusive, respectful learning environment Administer formative and summative assessments to measure student understanding Communicate regularly with families about student progress and learning goals Collaborate with colleagues to align curriculum and share instructional best practices Utilize educational technology and laboratory equipment to enhance science learning What We're Looking For Valid Arkansas teaching certificate with a 4-8 science endorsement, OR a K-6 license, OR ability to pursue a provisional license in science Strong knowledge of middle school science content and standards Commitment to differentiated instruction and student-centered learning Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work collaboratively within a school community Enthusiasm for fostering curiosity and scientific thinking in young people Working at Pulaski County Special School District Pulaski County Special School District serves students and families across North Little Rock and Pulaski County.
