Role Overview
Join Copper Roots as a Mid-Level Underground Transmission Line Engineer, working remotely in Texas, Colorado, Idaho, or Wyoming. The ideal candidate will have 2-5 years of experience in underground transmission line design and analysis.
What You Will Do
Assist in design and analysis of underground transmission lines, develop and review drawings, ensure compliance with industry standards, and lead team members to execute projects.

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Civil, or Mechanical Engineering
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in underground transmission line design
- Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D, CYMCAP, and Pull Planner
- Understanding of underground line routing, cable system design, and structural design
- Knowledge of applicable codes and standards (AEIC, ICEA, IEEE, etc.)
- EIT certification required; PE license (or ability to obtain) is a plus
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
