In this full-time role, you'll drive enterprise software adoption and customer success with mid-market health insurance and payor organizations. About the Role As a Medium Enterprise Customer Base Account Executive in our Healthcare Payor segment, you'll own strategic relationships with mid-sized health insurance companies, payor networks, and benefits organizations. You'll partner with healthcare leaders to understand their operational priorities, regulatory demands, and growth ambitions—and guide them toward cloud solutions that modernize finance, HR, and business processes to operate with greater efficiency and compliance. Responsibilities Develop and execute strategic account plans for assigned medium-enterprise healthcare payor customers Conduct discovery meetings to surface business challenges, regulatory pressures, and operational goals within payor organizations Present Workday cloud solutions tailored to healthcare payor workflows, compliance requirements, and industry-specific pain points Guide sales processes from initial opportunity through contract closure and implementation readiness Work cross-functionally with technical consultants, implementation partners, and customer success teams to drive adoption and retention Build executive-level relationships with C-suite and key decision-makers at health insurance and payor companies Own sales pipeline management and revenue forecast accuracy for your assigned account territory Requirements Demonstrated success in enterprise software sales, especially selling to healthcare organizations, insurance companies, or financial services firms In-depth knowledge of health insurance operations, payor challenges, regulatory frameworks, and industry dynamics Ability to communicate strategically and confidently with C-level executives navigating complex purchasing decisions Strong consultative selling skills and client relationship management experience Proven track record managing a sales territory or book of business and meeting revenue commitments Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional sales and business development experience Openness to regional travel to support customer engagement and relationship building About Workday Workday is a global leader in enterprise cloud software, delivering financial management, human capital management, and supply chain planning solutions to thousands of organizations worldwide.
