Responsibilities Monitor participant safety and health outcomes at assigned research sites, reviewing clinical data and adverse event reports Document and escalate protocol deviations, serious adverse events, and safety signals with appropriate regulatory reporting Conduct medical record audits and site monitoring activities to verify protocol adherence and data accuracy Apply psychiatric expertise to assess study-related medical events, determining causality and clinical severity Evaluate participant eligibility based on medical history, current clinical status, and protocol-defined criteria Coordinate with study investigators, sponsors, and ethics committees to maintain compliance with Good Clinical Practice and regulatory standards Prepare comprehensive monitoring reports and maintain regulatory documentation throughout the study duration What You Bring Active licensure as a psychiatrist in Canada with current board certification Clinical expertise in psychiatric assessment, diagnosis, and treatment Knowledge of GCP guidelines, ICH regulations, and research governance frameworks Strong written and verbal communication for complex medical documentation Ability to work independently and self-manage in a fully remote environment Clinical research, Medical Affairs, or drug development experience is preferred About PSI CRO PSI CRO advances pharmaceutical and medical innovation through rigorous clinical research and participant-centered trial operations.
