About the Role

As a Master Plumber with CareWell Health in Essex County, you will carry out a wide range of plumbing tasks tied to the installation, repair, and upkeep of building plumbing systems. Working under general direction, you will apply the full skill set of the plumbing trade, interpret technical documents, and serve as a lead resource for less-experienced team members on site at the VA Hospital.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair plumbing fixtures, piping, and related systems throughout the facility.
• Operate the machine and hand tools commonly used across the plumbing trade.
• Read and build from sketches, plans, and technical specifications to complete assignments.
• Ensure all work meets the applicable plumbing code and recognized trade standards.
• Provide direction and hand out assignments to supporting workers, taking the lead on tasks as needed.

Qualifications

• Master Plumber credentials with hands-on experience in the plumbing trade.
• Working knowledge of the plumbing code and accepted trade practices.
• Skill in using the various machine and hand tools of the trade.
• Ability to interpret sketches, plans, and specifications accurately.
• Capacity to guide and coordinate the work of other personnel.
