As a Marketplace Risk Operations Analyst at StockX, you'll link signals across accounts, transactions, and behaviors to expose larger fraud patterns, working alongside AI-powered detection tools and applying your own judgment to confirm or push back on their recommendations. Key Responsibilities Dig into complex, escalated fraud cases spanning accounts, transactions, listings, buyers, and sellers that call for human reasoning. Detect coordinated fraud, abuse rings, and new threats by correlating signals across devices, geographies, and transaction histories. Bring actionable trends, findings, and recommendations to the Risk Operations and Enforcement teams. Assess AI-generated case recommendations, decide on edge cases, and feed structured feedback back into models and rules. Carry out enforcement actions accurately and within defined SLA windows. Record investigations with clear, evidence-backed documentation for escalations, policy reviews, and possible law enforcement requests. Spot detection gaps and strengthen the effectiveness of fraud monitoring. Share insights during calibration sessions and fraud pattern reviews. Qualifications At least 2 years in Fraud Operations, Trust & Safety, Risk Operations, or a comparable investigative function. Practical experience with fraud detection platforms such as SEON, Sardine, Sift, or similar; familiarity with SQL or BI tools is a bonus. Sharp analytical ability to recognize patterns across accounts, regions, and transaction behavior. Strong written communication and thorough investigation documentation skills. Confidence working in human-in-the-loop AI settings, critically weighing model output rather than accepting it at face value.
