Interview prep

Fit summary

Strong fit if you are a hands-on manufacturing engineer with aerospace or heavy weld fabrication experience and want multi-shift, on-site tank production for Blue Origin’s lunar hardware—not remote office R&D.

Day in the role

As a Manufacturing Engineer (II–Sr) for Lunar tank welding, expect to own weld process development and production readiness for tank structures: define WPS/parameters, support fixtures and NDE flow, troubleshoot first-article and rate builds across multiple shifts, and close nonconformances with quality and technicians so flight hardware meets Blue Origin lunar program standards.

Skills to emphasize

Prioritize: weld process engineering (GTAW/GMAW or equivalent for tanks), blueprint/GD&T, MRB/nonconformance, lean/production systems, and working with multi-shift ops. No certification resources were provided in the data set.
