Manager, Project Safety

Cupertino Electric is hiring a full-time Manager, Project Safety in Paradise, Clark County to champion a culture of safety across complex data center and energy construction projects.

About the Role

As the Manager, Project Safety, you will own safety leadership on active job sites, partnering with field teams and project leaders to protect people and keep work on track. This is an on-site position based in Paradise, Clark County, with work performed primarily at the project location or in a regional office. Because Cupertino Electric delivers projects across several states — including Arizona, Nevada, California, Wisconsin, New Mexico, Texas, and Iowa — travel is part of the role, and its frequency and length will shift depending on project demands.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead safety strategy and day-to-day program execution on data center and energy construction sites.
• Coach crews, supervisors, and project teams to embed safe practices into every task.
• Conduct site walks, inspections, and audits to surface hazards before they cause harm.
• Investigate incidents, identify root causes, and drive corrective actions to completion.
• Ensure project work aligns with applicable regulatory standards and company safety expectations.
• Track safety metrics and report progress to project and operations leadership.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience managing safety on construction projects, ideally within data center, energy, or electrical environments.
• Strong working knowledge of jobsite safety standards and regulatory compliance.
• Confidence leading and influencing teams in a fast-moving field setting.
• Willingness to work on-site and travel across multiple project states as needed.

Compensation

The salary range for this Manager, Project Safety role is $95,000 to $125,000. The position is also eligible for Cupertino Electric's annual performance bonus plan.
