Create and enforce engineering standards, documentation packages, and as-built records for all Seattle-area facilities. Coordinate capacity forecasting, equipment installation, and network expansions with operations and capacity planning groups. Oversee construction quality assurance, vendor performance, and acceptance testing on ISP builds. Drive continuous improvement in methods, tools, and materials used for inside plant work while controlling project costs and schedules. What We're Looking For Proven experience as an engineering leader or senior engineer focused on inside plant, central office, data center, or telecom facility design. Deep knowledge of fiber optic and copper cabling systems, rack and cabinet engineering, power systems, cooling, and industry standards such as BICSI, TIA, and Telcordia. Demonstrated success managing teams, budgets, and multi-site projects—preferably supporting high-density network environments. Strong skills in interpretation of floor plans, single-line diagrams, and spatial planning for dense equipment deployments. Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, telecommunications, or a closely related field (or equivalent practical experience).
