Loves Travel Stops & Country Store is hiring a Maintenance Technician for full-time work at our Canton, Madison County location. In this hands-on role, you'll maintain and repair critical systems that keep our facility safe, clean, and running smoothly for our guests and team.
About the Role
As a Maintenance Technician at Loves, you'll perform a variety of repair and upkeep tasks essential to our daily operations. You'll be the go-to person for keeping our facilities in top condition.
- Inspect and maintain building systems, equipment, and facilities throughout the travel stop
- Diagnose and repair issues with HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems
- Address routine and emergency maintenance requests with urgency and professionalism
- Clean and maintain customer-facing areas, restrooms, fueling stations, and back-of-house spaces to our cleanliness standards
- Monitor equipment performance and perform preventive maintenance to avoid costly downtime
- Document maintenance activities and maintain inventory of supplies and parts
- Work flexible schedules, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
What We're Looking For
- Prior experience in maintenance, facility management, or technical repair work
- Hands-on knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, or mechanical systems
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work independently and communicate effectively with your team
- Attention to safety protocols and cleanliness standards
- A valid driver's license is preferred
