Maintenance Supervisor – Moorpark, CA

USA Properties Fund is seeking a dedicated, hands-on Maintenance Supervisor to lead property upkeep at Vintage Crest, our multifamily residential community in Moorpark, Ventura County, CA. This full-time, on-site role is ideal for an experienced maintenance professional who takes pride in keeping homes safe, comfortable, and move-in ready.

About the Role

As the Maintenance Supervisor in Moorpark, you will oversee the day-to-day physical condition of the community, directing repairs, preventive maintenance, and apartment turnovers. You'll set the standard for service quality while ensuring the property remains compliant with Section 42 (LIHTC) requirements that USA Properties Fund manages across its California and Nevada portfolio.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, prioritize, and supervise all maintenance and repair work across the apartment community
• Complete and coordinate unit turnovers so vacant homes are ready for new residents promptly
• Respond to resident service requests efficiently, including troubleshooting plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and appliance issues
• Lead and schedule the maintenance team, vendors, and contractors to meet quality and timeline goals
• Maintain a proactive preventive maintenance program for building systems, common areas, and grounds
• Manage inventory, supplies, and budgets while documenting work in accordance with company and regulatory standards
• Support a safe, well-kept living environment that reflects affordable-housing compliance expectations

Qualifications

• Prior experience in residential or multifamily maintenance, with supervisory or lead responsibilities preferred
• Practical knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and general repair trades
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to juggle competing priorities and emergency calls
• Effective communication and team leadership abilities
• Familiarity with Tax Credit, Section 42, or LIHTC communities is a plus
• Reliable, customer-focused, and committed to on-site, full-time work in Moorpark
