About the Role
As a Maintenance Summer Intern at Montgomery ISD, you will work alongside experienced maintenance technicians, lending a hand on day-to-day repairs and upkeep throughout the Maintenance Department. Key Responsibilities
- Support skilled maintenance staff while they complete repairs and service requests
- Carry out basic, routine maintenance and upkeep tasks as directed
- Follow both spoken and written instructions accurately and safely
- Assist with general facility care to keep district buildings in good working order
Qualifications
- A valid Texas driver's license
- Familiarity with fundamental routine maintenance and repair methods
- Ability to understand and act on verbal and written directions
- Clear, effective communication skills when working with the team
