About the Role

As a Maintenance Millwright with our Alabama maintenance division, you will service, troubleshoot, and install the machinery that powers a range of heavy industries — including steel mills, cold mills, sawmills, and powerhouses. This is an on-site position in Huntsville, Madison County, ideal for a skilled tradesperson who thrives in hands-on, high-stakes industrial settings.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain, repair, and install industrial machinery and mechanical systems across multiple production facilities.
• Apply welding skills to fabricate, modify, and restore equipment components as needed.
• Support operations in steel mills, cold mills, sawmills, and powerhouses.
• Diagnose mechanical issues and carry out preventive and corrective maintenance to reduce downtime.
• Work safely and collaboratively as part of the maintenance team.

Qualifications

• Proven, hands-on experience as a Millwright at a high skill level.
• Strong welding capabilities suited to industrial repair and fabrication.
• Direct steel mill experience and familiarity with heavy industrial equipment.
• Ability to work on-site in Huntsville, Madison County in a full-time capacity.
