Maintenance Manager

Bluestone Real Estate Services is hiring a full-time Maintenance Manager in Progress, Washington County to lead day-to-day upkeep across our residential property portfolio while staying hands-on in the field. About the Role

As Maintenance Manager, you will direct the daily maintenance function for properties throughout Progress, Washington County, balancing supervisory responsibilities with active fieldwork. This position blends people leadership with technical execution, overseeing maintenance staff, outside vendors, fleet resources, safety initiatives, and capital improvement projects from planning through completion.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and support daily maintenance operations across the portfolio while personally performing repair and service work.
• Provide hands-on direction, scheduling, and mentorship for maintenance team members.
• Coordinate and manage relationships with external vendors and service contractors.
• Oversee fleet management and ensure equipment and vehicles remain serviceable.
• Maintain regulatory compliance and uphold workplace safety programs.
• Plan and execute capital improvement initiatives across managed properties.

Qualifications

• Proven hands-on technical maintenance experience across building systems and general repairs.
• Demonstrated leadership ability with the willingness to work alongside the team in the field.
• Working knowledge of vendor coordination, fleet upkeep, safety standards, and compliance requirements.
• Strong organizational skills to manage competing priorities across multiple properties.
• Availability for full-time, on-site work in Progress, Washington County (this role is not remote).
