Maintenance Director

King Health & Rehabilitation Center in King, North Carolina is looking for an experienced Maintenance Director to lead facility operations and ensure our center remains a safe, reliable environment for patients and residents.

About the Role

As Maintenance Director at this full-time position, you'll oversee all aspects of building systems, infrastructure, and maintenance operations. Your leadership will be crucial in keeping our healthcare facility operating smoothly while maintaining the highest standards of safety and cleanliness that our patients and their families deserve.

What You'll Do

• Direct and supervise maintenance staff, coordinate work schedules, and delegate tasks across preventive and corrective maintenance projects
• Manage HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems to ensure reliable operation and patient comfort
• Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to minimize equipment downtime and extend asset life
• Ensure compliance with healthcare facility regulations, safety codes, and infection control standards
• Respond to emergency maintenance situations and coordinate rapid repairs to minimize service disruptions
• Oversee maintenance budgets, track expenses, and identify cost-saving opportunities
• Inspect facilities regularly, identify repair needs, and prioritize work orders
• Maintain detailed records of all maintenance activities, equipment inspections, and repairs

What We're Looking For

• Proven experience managing maintenance operations in a healthcare or hospitality setting
• Strong knowledge of building systems including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and fire safety
• Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a maintenance team
• Understanding of healthcare facility compliance requirements and infection control protocols
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
• Valid driver's license and ability to respond to emergencies
