You will:

We are seeking a motivated Legal Trainee (Referendar) to join our dynamic legal team in Berlin. This position is available either as a part-time job during your legal clerkship or as an elective stage (Wahlstation) of your practical legal training. You’ll have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a variety of legal areas within a fast-growing, international tech company.

  • Support the legal team in reviewing and drafting various contracts, including NDAs and commercial agreements
  • Assist in managing IP-related third-party complaints and align with tech and content teams
  • Help maintain data privacy (GDPR) documentation and processes
  • Contribute to the maintenance of our contract lifecycle management (CLM) system
  • Conduct legal research on various topics relevant to our business
  • Manage customer/supplier claims independently
  • Assist with general administrative tasks and correspondence

Who you are

  • You are a law student in your practical legal training phase (Referendar/in)
  • You have excellent academic credentials and a strong interest in commercial and contract law
  • You are fluent in English and German
  • You have a keen interest in the intersection of law and technology
  • You are a proactive learner with strong analytical and communication skills
  • You thrive in a fast-paced, international environment and enjoy working in a team
