About the Role
As a Leasing Specialist for Oakwood Trails, you will serve as the welcoming face of the community, guiding prospects through every step of the leasing journey. This position is based on-site in Klein, Harris County, and plays a central part in keeping occupancy strong while delivering an exceptional resident experience at this affordable housing property.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet and assist prospective residents, conducting tours of available apartment homes and community amenities.
- Manage inquiries by phone, email, and in person, responding promptly and professionally.
- Guide applicants through the application, screening, and lease-signing process for this Tax Credit community.
- Verify documentation and support compliance requirements specific to affordable housing programs.
- Help drive occupancy and resident retention through follow-up and outstanding customer service.
- Maintain accurate leasing records and contribute to the overall success of the Oakwood Trails team.
Qualifications
- Prior leasing, sales, customer service, or property management experience is a strong advantage.
- Familiarity with Tax Credit or affordable housing properties is a plus; relevant certifications are valued.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a genuine passion for helping people.
- Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail.
- Availability to work on-site full-time in Klein, Harris County (Spring, TX).
