About the Role As a Lead Technical Business Intelligence Analyst at Memorial Hermann Health System, you will design and deliver analytics solutions that advance Population Health and Value-Based Care initiatives. Partnering with clinical, administrative, operational, and payer stakeholders, you will analyze claims and performance data, build dashboards, and serve as a trusted technical advisor and mentor to fellow analysts across the System's Analytics Community. Key Responsibilities Lead analytics initiatives end to end — defining problems, integrating disparate data sources, and delivering tools that meet customer objectives. Build advanced Tableau dashboards, reports, and visualizations that reveal new opportunities and answer complex business questions. Develop and refine performance metrics to monitor ongoing organizational results. Extract, transform, and integrate data into an enterprise data warehouse (EDW) via direct integration or normalization. Troubleshoot complex technical, data quality, and reporting issues while guiding BI, Specialized, and Technical BI Analysts. Translate business needs into actionable analytics and present findings to diverse audiences. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in computer science, management information systems, data science, business administration, statistics, or a related field (or equivalent experience); Master's strongly preferred. Minimum of 7 years collaborating with customers on analytics deliverables, plus 7 years building self-service reports, dashboards, and decision-support tools. Expert proficiency in one or more tools across query languages (CCL, SQL, Nomad, Oracle, Vertica, Snowflake), visualization (Tableau preferred, Spotfire, Sisense, Qlik, Power BI), data prep (Tableau Prep, Hadoop, Alteryx, Talend), statistics (R, SAS, SPSS), and data science (Python, DataRobot, Anaconda). Strong SQL and experience with complex healthcare datasets, including claims, population health, and value-based care data. Proficiency with the MS Office Suite, including Excel (pivot tables, VBA, macros).
