About the Role

As the Lead Field Technician with Skillforce, you'll supervise and work side by side with a maintenance team of as many as ten people throughout a five-week project in Sandston, VA. Your crew will service specialized cooling systems inside large-scale industrial sites and data centers, keeping critical equipment clean and running reliably. Key Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate a field crew of up to 10 maintenance workers across the duration of the project.
• Perform and oversee cleaning and upkeep on specialized cooling equipment in industrial facilities and data centers.
• Work hands-on alongside the team to keep tasks moving and standards high.
• Organize daily workflow to meet the timeline of the five-week assignment.
• Set the pace and example for safe, thorough, physically active fieldwork.

Qualifications

• Proven, hands-on experience in field maintenance or technical service work.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and guide a crew on active job sites.
• Comfort performing physically demanding tasks throughout the workday.
• Familiarity with maintaining cooling or mechanical equipment in industrial or data center settings is a strong asset.
• Availability to commit to a full-time, five-week project based in Sandston, Henrico County.
