You'll provide essential litigation support to our team, handling case management, legal research, and client communication for employment and labor law matters from our Sacramento office. About the Role Our litigation practice focuses on employment and labor law, representing clients through discovery, trial preparation, and court proceedings. As our Litigation Paralegal, you'll be the backbone of case management, working directly with attorneys and clients to move cases forward efficiently and strategically. This role offers real responsibility in substantive legal work and the chance to develop deep expertise in employment litigation. What You'll Do Manage case files, evidence, and documents using litigation support software; organize and maintain discovery materials Conduct legal research on employment law statutes, labor regulations, civil procedure, and relevant case precedent Prepare pleadings, motions, and discovery requests under attorney supervision Assist with deposition preparation, scheduling, and coordination Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and court staff to coordinate case schedules and document exchanges Support trial preparation by organizing exhibits, preparing trial binders, and assisting with witness coordination Track court deadlines, filing requirements, and procedural rules to ensure compliance What We're Looking For Paralegal certification or substantial litigation paralegal experience in employment or labor law Strong knowledge of civil procedure, employment law, and labor law fundamentals Proficiency with litigation support software and document management systems Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to organize complex information and manage multiple deadlines simultaneously Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in legal documentation Professional demeanor and ability to work collaboratively with attorneys and clients About HERS Advisors HERS Advisors partners with leading law firms across the country to build specialized teams.
