Follow established biosafety practices, infection-control protocols, and laboratory regulations at every step. Participate in proficiency testing, inventory management of media and reagents, and continuous process improvement. Requirements Degree or equivalent preparation in medical laboratory science, microbiology, or a closely related life-science discipline suitable for technologist or technician work. Current certification or eligibility as a medical laboratory technologist/technician (for example ASCP or equivalent) preferred for Microbiology specialty practice.
