About the Role

As a Kindergarten Teacher Assistant at University Academy, you will partner with the lead teacher to deliver engaging, effective instruction across every subject area. Based on-site in Leawood, Johnson County, this is a hands-on, full-time position centered on student success and a warm, well-organized learning environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist the lead teacher in planning and delivering meaningful instruction to kindergarten students across all learning areas.
• Provide small-group and one-on-one instructional support to help children meet learning goals.
• Help maintain a safe, encouraging, and structured classroom that keeps young learners focused and engaged.
• Communicate and collaborate effectively with school staff, students, parents, and members of the community.
• Stay informed of state and district requirements to ensure every student's needs are met.
• Take on additional classroom duties as assigned by the lead teacher or school leadership.

Qualifications
