About the Role As a Junior Operations Analyst at Trading212 in Sydney, you'll join a fast-moving Operations team and gain hands-on exposure across payments, client money reconciliation, third-party management, and compliance support. The position sits at the heart of daily operations, collaborating with departments across the business to keep functions running accurately and on schedule — an ideal foundation for anyone who flourishes in structured, process-led environments. Key Responsibilities Process client withdrawals through banking and payment providers promptly and accurately, and action daily payment instructions, adjustment files, and settlement tasks. Track multi-currency platform balances, ensure sufficient funding, and investigate unallocated, failed, or pending deposit items. Complete daily Australian reconciliation checks, confirm received files, verify settlement postings, and support custodian settlement processing. Review bank transfer reports, escalate flagged foreign transactions or account activity to Compliance, and document remediation steps. Manage support tickets and CRM systems so client queries are resolved quickly alongside cross-functional teams. Assist with post-trade and corporate action processing, review manually booked trades such as stock splits and share transfers, and escalate discrepancies to the Dealing team. Spot chances to automate workflows and improve operational processes, while maintaining documentation to regulatory and audit standards. Qualifications One to two years in financial operations, back-office, payments, or a related finance or FinTech role; relevant graduate or internship experience is also welcome. Sharp attention to detail with the discipline to follow structured procedures under time pressure. Confidence juggling multiple systems, spreadsheets, and reconciliation tasks at once. A clear communicator who escalates issues professionally and manages competing priorities independently. Degree-level education or an equivalent professional qualification. Desirable extras: familiarity with payment platforms, FCA/ASIC frameworks, client money rules, Zendesk or similar CRM, corporate actions, advanced Excel, SQL/MySQL, Bloomberg, or reconciliation processes.
