Role Overview
SCR Mining and Tunnelling is seeking experienced Jumbo Operators/Development Leaders to join their underground mining operations team. The role involves setting up and operating a single or multiple boom jumbo, drilling and blasting in a safe manner. The team is based in Bissett, Manitoba, and the position is remote with camp accommodation and meals provided.
What You Will Do
The Jumbo Operator/Development Leader will be responsible for visually inspecting the work area, assessing ground conditions, and implementing ground control. They will also extend grade and centre line, mark face for drilling, and perform minor repairs.
