Qualifications:

  • Fluency in Japanese and English (both spoken and written) is required.
  • Proven experience in interpretation, certification in interpretation is a MUST.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in high-pressure situations and maintain professionalism.
  • Cultural competence and sensitivity when interacting.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and comply with legal and ethical standards.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends (if necessary).

MUST have Qualifications:

  • Previous experience working as an interpreter.
  • Certification or accreditation in interpretation.
