Your impact:
You will be the strategic bridge who translates business needs into reliable IT solutions. Together with a skilled team of 3 IT Engineers, you will plan and set the future tracks of our IT infrastructure and collaborate with our DevOps team to ensure a secure, reliable, and scalable IT environment.
In this role, you will support the people behind Channable; your mission is to maintain our internal workspace and assist our employees; it does not involve supporting our clients.
What you bring to the team:
-
You’re fluent in the English language as well as “business” to “tech” and can translate vice versa
-
You have at least 5+ years of experience within the area of IT and at least 2+ years of experience in a supervisory role
-
You have deep knowledge of Windows and MacOS environments, including troubleshooting hardware and software issues

Solid coordination, communication, and crisis management skills
-
Good understanding of common Security & Compliance practices
What you will do:

Plan, delegate, and prioritize our general IT workload
-
Mentor and coach team members, providing performance feedback and identifying opportunities for professional development and skill building

Dive into technical challenges alongside the team
-
Keep a good overview of our automations and make sure information is well documented
-
Support & plan the rollout of new tools, devices, and processes, ensuring smooth adoption by our end-users

Liaise on issues with large(r) impact with team members, departments, and stakeholders

Planning and reviewing OKRs

Manage relationships with external IT vendors and service providers, ensuring contracts meet organizational needs and cost objectives

The logistics:

Commitment: Minimum 32 to 40 hours per week.

Location: Hybrid workspace (minimum 2 days a week in our Utrecht office).

Right to work: Valid work permit for the Netherlands or EU citizenship required.
