About the Role As the IT Security Administrator at Bitwarden, you'll serve as a first responder for security and IT needs across every team in the company. You'll juggle a mix of day-to-day support, access management, and incident triage while helping mature our security operations. Coverage ahead of the U.S. East Coast time zone is valued, and visa sponsorship is not available for this role. Key Responsibilities Act as the initial point of contact for technical service desk requests, resolving or routing them to senior staff as needed. Support onboarding and offboarding through SCIM automation, user provisioning, access changes, and license administration. Configure and maintain Atlassian Cloud tools, including Jira, Confluence, and Service Management. Monitor SOC and SIEM alerts and network traffic, triaging suspicious activity and escalating to tier 2 and tier 3 teams. Administer endpoint and data protection technologies such as EDR, MDM, SASE, DLP, and brand protection services. Manage patching, vulnerability remediation, asset standardization, and OS updates through policy-driven MDM enforcement. Help ensure the secure, ethical use of AI systems and data within the organization. Author and maintain documentation, hardened baselines, and processes supporting ISO 27001, SOC 2, HIPAA, and GDPR requirements. Qualifications Background as a security and IT generalist across diverse, distributed technology environments.
