Mansfield City Schools is seeking a dedicated Intervention Specialist to join Malabar Intermediate School for the 2026-2027 academic year, supporting student growth and classroom leadership in our intermediate grades.
About the Role
This full-time, on-site Intervention Specialist position is based at Malabar Intermediate School and serves students in the intermediate 3-6 range. The central goal of the role is to provide leadership for learning at the classroom level, helping every learner reach measurable academic and personal milestones. The Intervention Specialist reports directly to the Building Principal or a designated leader and works as an integral part of the instructional team.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver targeted instruction and individualized support to students in grades 3-6.
- Lead learning within the classroom setting, adapting strategies to diverse student needs.
- Collaborate with the Building Principal, teachers, and families to advance student achievement.
- Communicate clearly and effectively with students, colleagues, and parents to support learning goals.
- Monitor student progress and adjust intervention approaches accordingly.
Qualifications
- Valid certification appropriate for an Intermediate 3-6 / Intervention Specialist role.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to connect with students, staff, and families.
- Capacity to provide instructional leadership at the classroom level.
- Commitment to supporting the academic success of intermediate-grade learners.
