As an Interior Project Architect/Job Captain at HLW International LLP, you will play a central role in advancing interior architecture projects across their full lifecycle. Based on-site in Chelsea and Clinton, Manhattan, this position blends design sensibility with technical precision, ensuring that documentation, coordination, and detailing meet the high standards expected of a globally recognized practice.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage interior project delivery from early design phases through construction documentation and project closeout.
• Develop accurate, well-coordinated drawing sets and technical details for interior spaces.
• Coordinate with design teams, consultants, and clients to keep projects aligned with intent, schedule, and quality benchmarks.
• Support quality control across documentation, ensuring consistency and constructability.
• Help translate creative design concepts into buildable, future-focused environments.

Qualifications

• Professional experience in interior architecture or architectural project delivery, ideally in a Job Captain or Project Architect capacity.
• Strong command of construction documentation, detailing, and project coordination.
• A collaborative, growth-minded approach that thrives in a team-oriented studio culture.
• Ability to balance design quality with technical and logistical demands of a full-time, on-site role in Manhattan.
