Instructional Aide

Immaculate Conception Catholic School in Yuma, Yuma County is seeking a dedicated Instructional Aide to join the Diocese of Tucson and help nurture, support, and educate students within a faith-centered learning environment.

About the Role

As an Instructional Aide at Immaculate Conception Catholic School, you will work closely with and report directly to the school principal. This is a part-time, non-exempt position based in Yuma. Your central focus is the care and instruction of children, while actively advancing the mission of the school and the Diocese of Tucson each day in the classroom.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with the daily care, supervision, and well-being of students under the guidance of the school principal.
• Support classroom instruction and reinforce learning activities led by teaching staff.
• Help maintain a safe, welcoming, and orderly environment that reflects the school's Catholic values.
• Contribute to the broader educational mission of Immaculate Conception Catholic School and the Diocese of Tucson.
• Carry out additional duties as directed by school leadership.

Qualifications

• A genuine commitment to working with and supporting the development of children.
• Willingness to operate within and uphold the mission and values of a Catholic school and the Diocese of Tucson.
• Ability to follow direction from the school principal and collaborate with teaching staff.
• Reliability, patience, and strong interpersonal skills suited to a school setting.
• Availability to work on-site in Yuma, Yuma County, as this is not a remote role.
