In this full-time role, you'll process hundreds of institutional KYC requests monthly, working directly with clients and counterparties while maintaining rigorous compliance standards. You'll gain deep expertise in global regulatory frameworks and operational excellence alongside seasoned compliance professionals. Competitive compensation includes base salary ranging from $53,635–$67,065 in New Jersey and $59,945–$74,955 in Washington, plus equity and comprehensive benefits. Final offers vary based on location, experience, and expertise. Key Responsibilities Receive, track, and manage KYC submissions through resolution, maintaining established timelines and compliance standards. Serve as primary contact for compliance questions, translating complex global KYC requirements into actionable guidance for clients and counterparties. Validate KYC documentation against AML frameworks and international compliance standards, identifying gaps and requiring remediation as needed. Maintain comprehensive, audit-ready records in Carta systems tracking all submissions, approvals, and supporting documentation. Monitor emerging KYC and AML regulations globally and integrate updated requirements into team procedures. Who We're Looking For 1–2+ years in regulatory compliance, risk management, or related operational roles Working knowledge of global KYC and anti-money-laundering frameworks and practical application AML or KYC professional certifications (ACAMS, ICA) preferred but not required Ability to manage competing priorities and high transaction volumes without compromising accuracy Polished communication skills for senior-level client and counterparty engagement Background in corporate banking, law, fund administration, or institutional compliance Familiarity with offshore financial centers (Cayman Islands, Luxembourg, and similar jurisdictions) Self-directed with the judgment to prioritize work and solve problems with minimal oversight About Carta Carta powers private capital infrastructure, serving over 65,000 companies across 160 countries.
