About the Role
This is a contract, fully remote engagement open to candidates based in or around New York City, New York. As a Special Education / IEP Evaluator, you will apply your professional judgment to review outputs produced by advanced AI systems, ensuring they meet the rigorous standards expected in the field of individualized education planning. Compensation for this role is offered at $80–$120 per hour.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess AI-generated artifacts and content related to special education and Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for correctness and quality.
- Apply specialized knowledge of IEP processes, documentation, and best practices to identify errors, gaps, or inaccuracies in model output.
- Provide clear, structured feedback and annotations that help refine and improve AI model performance.
- Collaborate remotely with research teams to uphold consistent evaluation criteria across tasks.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience in special education, with hands-on familiarity developing or evaluating IEPs.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to critically review written material for accuracy.
- Comfort working independently in a remote, contract-based environment.
- Excellent written communication skills for delivering precise, actionable feedback.
