About the Role

As the Human Resource team member at Fuel Express LLC, you will own the full spectrum of HR operations at our Falls location. You'll serve as the go-to resource for employees and management alike, ensuring our workforce practices are compliant, consistent, and people-centered. What You'll Do

• Administer and oversee HR functions spanning compensation, employee benefits, and leave management
• Manage end-to-end recruitment efforts — from posting openings and screening applicants to coordinating interviews and onboarding new hires
• Design and coordinate employee training and professional development initiatives
• Ensure company policies and practices remain aligned with federal, state, and local labor laws
• Guide managers through disciplinary processes, investigations, and conflict resolution in a fair and lawful manner
• Maintain accurate, confidential employee records and HR documentation
• Serve as a trusted point of contact for employee questions related to pay, benefits, and workplace policies

What We're Looking For

• Solid working knowledge of core HR functions including compensation, benefits administration, talent acquisition, and workforce development
• Familiarity with employment law, labor regulations, and disciplinary best practices
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook); experience with an HRMS or HRIS platform is a plus
• Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines
• Strong written and verbal communication abilities — you can translate complex HR topics for any audience
• A solutions-oriented mindset with demonstrated skill in navigating workplace challenges and sensitive situations
• High degree of discretion when handling confidential employee information
